West Shore just completed the third and final phase for the rail bridge replacement over the Serpentine River. An access trestle had to be constructed to allow crane access to existing structure while the line was still operational. New piles were driven through the existing structure and new precast concrete segments were installed during rail windows. Flyover footage shot during construction can be seen below or for full project details head over to our Featured Projects. Construction for the second rail bridge, over the Nicomekl River, began in late 2015.
